Advanced fittings UPP 9X.XXX
We are pleased to inform you that since 01.03.2012, improved welded end connections UPP (plastic-metal, “dad” /”mom”) have appeared in our price list. As a result, articles 81.XXX and 82.XXX are replaced by 91.XXX and 92.XXX, respectively.
The main improvement of the UPP end connections is the replacement of the threaded connection material from bronze to stainless steel. The new joints began to weigh 2 times lighter and are considered more reliable in terms of tightness, since their metal part is integrated into the plastic part using a patented connection technology. Unlike bronze, stainless steel is a more stable material, which eliminates thread damage during installation and oxidation of the bronze fitting in acidic and podzolic soils. Moreover, stainless steel compounds can be used not only for light petroleum products, but also for aggressive chemical elements, including AdBlue.
